ABOUT

Loïc Viatte

Since my early days in video, when I was playing around with my father’s camera, my passion for filmmaking has continuously grown. In 2015, I founded Waview, my own production company, and pursued my cinematic education at the SAE Institute in Geneva, where I directed three short films.

My cinematic influences, including the movie “Fruitvale Station” and director Ava DuVernay, have encouraged me to delve deep into character psychology and incorporate powerful metaphors.

My goal is to immerse the audience in the main character’s experience.

Currently, my third short film, “Echovalescence,” is in post-production, while I am working on the script for my first feature film. The highlight of my career was the theatrical screening of my second short film, “Paloma,” which deeply resonated with the audience.

As a filmmaker, I strive to create engaging cinematic experiences that evoke emotions and tell memorable stories. My work continues to evolve, and I look forward to sharing new cinematic adventures with the world.
